Director of Operations

With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Joshua McMinn brings a people-first, operations-focused approach to Three Amigos Hospitality. A Tampa native, Joshua began his career in the dishroom at Bonefish Grill, quickly working his way up through the ranks and ultimately becoming a managing partner. His early rise through the industry instilled a deep appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and the daily commitment required to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Throughout his career, Joshua served on New Store Opening (NSO) teams, helping launch several successful restaurant locations across the country. He also played a key role on corporate training teams responsible for rolling out companywide initiatives, service programs, and operational standards—experience that shaped his ability to build strong teams and implement scalable systems.

Joshua joined Three Amigos Hospitality in July 2023 as General Manager of Blackbird Modern Asian in Jupiter. His leadership quickly elevated team culture, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction, leading to his promotion to Director of Operations.

In his current role, Joshua oversees day-to-day operations, brand execution, and leadership development across the company’s growing portfolio. His hands-on approach and commitment to mentorship ensure every location reflects Three Amigos Hospitality’s core values of consistency, accountability, and elevated guest experience.

Joshua’s operational expertise complements the culinary leadership of Tim Nickey, the marketing direction of Melissa Frielich, and the entrepreneurial strengths of partners Scott Frielich, Angelo Abbenante, and Cleve Mash—rounding out the company’s collaborative and well-balanced leadership team.
