Scott Frielich

Co-Partner & Visionary Restaurateur

With over 30 years of experience in South Florida’s hospitality landscape, Scott Frielich has been at the forefront of shaping some of the region’s most iconic dining and entertainment destinations. Born in Bergen County, New Jersey, Scott built his reputation on a hands-on, detail-driven approach that blends concept strategy, design sensibility, and operational excellence.

Scott’s journey began in 1996 with the purchase of Lost Weekend West Palm Beach, followed by the opening of a second Miami Beach location the same year. These early ventures sparked what would become the Subculture Restaurant & Nightclub Group, where Scott played an instrumental role in growing more than 20 restaurants, bars, and nightlife concepts across South Florida.

His notable contributions to Subculture include:

•Kapow Noodle Bar (Boca Raton & West Palm Beach) – launched in 2011 and sold in 2021

•Lost Weekend – expanded to Miami Beach in 1996

•Honey – intimate lounge in Delray Beach

•Tryst – chef-driven restaurant in Mizner Park

•Dubliner Irish Pub – a modern pub with a local edge

•DADA – a beloved Delray Beach landmark

•Howley’s – iconic retro diner in West Palm Beach

As co-founder of Three Amigos Hospitality, Scott continues to shape dining culture with concepts built on community, creativity, and experience, including:

•Blackbird Modern Asian

•Papichulo Tacos

Scott’s strength lies in recognizing emerging markets, building teams that execute at a high level, and crafting destination-worthy concepts. Together with partners Angelo Abbenante and Cleve Mash, he forms one-third of the leadership foundation behind Three Amigos Hospitality.
